After the basic intruder alarm installation where do I go from there?

Speech Dialer

This unit connects into your alarm system main control panel as is activated by an alarm condition. It will then dial the first of the three or four pre-set numbers which you, the user, have specified, it will then inform the person answering that call that the alarm at "100 unknown st" has been activated. Should it not receive a response from the first number it will call the second and then the third and so on.

Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC)

Using either a Digital Communicator, Redcare, Redcare Agile, Redcare GSM or Emizon which will notify the ARC of an alarm activation. The ARC is a manned, secure location into which all the alarm activation's are logged. The personnel there will call the owner or nominated key holders until a response is elicited. . If the system has a Police Response Unique Reference Number (URN) and the conditions are met then the ARC will also communicate the intrusion to the appropriate Force.

RedCare

RedCARE continually monitors the state of your telephone line and if it spots an emergency situation it reacts in less than 4 seconds. You are only required to have one BT telephone line which can be used for normal traffic.

Alarm Signalling by this method is the most secure, because if the telephone line is disabled by whatever method, it will activate a response from the central station.
